Whatever it said on the tickets I'd guess.

Talking of tickets it would be interesting to find out how many were actually issued from Waterfall(s), i suppose with its location it would have been handy for lower Foxdale.

If I remember correctly - it was MNR that called it 'Waterfalls' and the I.M.R. 'Waterfall.  MNR tickets are printed with 'Waterfalls', but to contradict matters, the MNR 1886 timetable states it as 'Waterfall'!

I have to admit that I have never been up to look to see if its an actual waterfall or waterfalls - does it still exist?

The waterfall is still there, I was up around the area last week. The halt was of course unmanned, so any tickets (regardless of their title) would have been issued by the Guard of the Foxdale Branch service. I think the ticket rack was still built into the "Foxdale" coach up until the Ailsa refurbishment into a camping coach
