as part of the manx heritage transport festival on 31st july the railcars will be available for viewing at douglas station.

Do you know if they are to be brought out of the carriage shed ( i am not too sure if this is possible) or are they being included in the tour of the sheds etc.

think they are going to be in the running shed, as H+S doesn't allow access to the public into the carriage shed; have to stick to the concrete paths.  Can't see them being put on display on the platform, as then less people will pay to visit the sheds.

Good to see one of the railcars again ( lucky you getting a decent shot during the transfer). It brought home once again what a tragedy it is that these wonderful historic items of rolling stock have been mothballed for the last 10 years or so. I know there is alot left to be done with them, but wouldn't it be wonderful if a lump of money could be allocated to complete them.
